1. Detailed description of goods and/or services

Maison du Cap is a guesthouse situated in Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa. It operates within the Hospitality Industry and provides accommodation and breakfast for paying customers.

2. Return and Refunds policy

The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged a deposit 50% (only direct bookings via email, phone and www.maisonducap.com) of the reservation if they cancel within 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.

3. Privacy Policy

Maison du Cap shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of customers. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall mean the same as that found in Chapter 1 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 4. Accepted payment methods

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or EFT.

5. Card details and security

Card transactions for Maison du Cap will be processed via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. Customer details will be stored separately from their card details.

6.Domicile of Maison du Cap

Maison du Cap is domiciled in the Republic of South Africa, and, as such, this website is governed by South African law. Maison du Cap chooses South Africa as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, including all potential legal proceedings. The merchant outlet country, when the payment options are presented to the cardholder, is South Africa. Transaction currency is the South African Rand (ZAR).

7. Responsibility

Maison du Cap takes responsibility for aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of services sold on this website and customer service and support for services purchased on this website. Maison du Cap does not take responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of a fraudulent website or link bearing our name. We further do not accept responsibility for any losses of corporeal or non-corporeal items during a customer’s stay at our facilities. We do not accept responsibility for any injuries sustained on our premises. Customers use the premises at their own risk.

8. Variation

IMaison du Cap may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
